Rather than focus on climbing or scrambling, Jon Sparks and Tom Hutton have produced a fantastic guide book which combines the two. They describe mountain days out as expeditions, ranging from grade 1 scrambles to VDiff climbing.

The book features routes from the classic crags of Ogwen to forgotten corners like Cwm Llfar.

We have used this book for several fabulous days out. We can highly recommend the Amphitheatre Buttress climb as a wonderful day out!
